While the past year or two have been great to Drake, his achievements are not fleeting, and in many ways, he many never be beaten. The rapper has owned the No. 1 spot several times over on many different charts all around the world, including the two most important here in the U.S., the Billboard 200 (which measures the most popular albums) and the Hot 100 (which tracks the most successful songs). Simply scoring a No. 1 hit on the latter ranking is admirable and enviable, but Drake’s dominance extends much further than simply the peak position. In fact, no artist has ever made as great an impact on the singles chart as he has, and the ways in which he controls the Hot 100 continue to grow all the time.
